Intended for acute cases. The dorsal part at the level of the thumb prevents hyperextension of the distal phalanx. This part can easily be cut away when necessary. This product is made of a Low Temperature Thermoplastic material and can be moulded directly on the patient. This pattern is NOT SUITABLE for the following application:- acute fractures of wrist or thumb.
