The Repose Coolform Gel cushions use the latest Medical Grade Silicone technology, designed with the user and carer in mind.

The design of the cushion allows pressure to be evenly distributed across the gluteal muscles providing the user with the necessary pressure relief needed and significantly increased comfort. Whatever the user’s body temperature is, the Gel equalises to it to provide a greater feeling of comfort. To ensure the user retains the correct postural support the cushion conforms to the shape of the body and there is no shear or friction when the user’s body is moving due to the use of specially designed gel cells. The unique design of the cushion ensures it meets medium or high-pressure requirements while allowing air to flow easily between the air cells. From a hygiene perspective, the new cushions are easy to clean and totally odourless and hypoallergenic.

Repose has also designed the Profile Coolform cushion which includes a pommel to assist users with weak trunk or lower limb muscles who are prone to sliding down in their chair or for users with lower limb spasticity to help maintain hips in the abducted position and in both cases, create a good seating position.

Optional leg block to rest the legs in comfort while sitting. Also available are arm covers, a head cushion cover and honeycomb gel in the leg and armrests and a lap strap with pad.

Cleaning instructions

Please wipe down with cold water to clean.

The fabric is designed to kill bacteria on contact and water is all that is needed.

If you are in any doubt about cleaning instructions please check with us, we cannot be responsible for any damage caused by cleaning.

The Care and Cleaning of Polyurethane Coated Fabric

Two years on mechanisms and frame, two years on upholstery and one year on pressure care seat cushions.

WS Medical will repair or replace at our discretion and free of charge to the original purchaser, any parts covered by this warranty and which on examination, are found to be defective in material and or workmanship. The warranty is for parts and labour only.

Warranty exclusions:

• Fabric damage resulting from misuse, negligence, abuse, accident or incorrect cleaning
• Unauthorised or incorrect repairs, alterations and modifications
• Damage to the chair from misuse, negligence, abuse or accident
• Damage caused from normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by common carrier abuse or mishandling and any special, indirect incidental and/or consequential damages
• Replacement of the battery if the battery is left to completely discharge
